Directors’ Examinations
Directors’ examinations are designed to specifically review your bank’s internal controls, financial statements and operations in compliance with Federal and state guidelines. Our approach with directors’ examinations is to provide assurance to your board of directors that the bank’s controls and operational and accounting procedures are in place and effective. In addition, we approach directors’ exams with an eye on regulatory “hot topics” providing management with insight and proactive guidance for addressing examiner concerns before they arrive.
Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Audits
This independent audit is completed using the current Federal Financial Institution Examination Council (FFIEC) Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Examination Manual core examination procedures. We prepare comprehensive work papers documenting the steps we completed and our transaction testing. These work papers are left with your bank along with a report detailing our conclusions and recommendations. Examiners often use our work papers and your response to our recommendations as the foundation for their own examinations.
We will work with your staff to develop effective policies and procedures to help ensure compliance with these important laws and regulations.
IT Reviews and Audits
